Angels for Orphans is the guardian for our chosen children’s charities. We currently raise awareness and funds for charities in Hong Kong, Cambodia and Indonesia that work tirelessly on the ground to improve the lives of the many children in their care.
Every child has a right to love, protection, happiness, education, care, shelter, food, medicine, clothing and hope. Yet, sadly, thousands of orphaned children are denied a safe and loving environment in which to flourish and grow. They find themselves caught up in the endless cycle of violence, disease, mal-nutrition and ignorance that blights their young and fragile lives. Extreme poverty is their harsh reality. Many of the orphans living in orphanages are also there because their impoverished parents do not believe they can care for them. Such children in care are widely refereed to as "Economic Orphans".
Every day, 3,400 tonnes of food waste are sent to landfills in Hong Kong, while one million people live in poverty struggling to afford nutritious meals. Feeding Hong Kong bridges this gap by linking food companies and charities to redistribute surplus food from where it is plentiful, to where there is a need.
Founded in 2001, Foodlink Foundation is a registered Hong Kong charity dedicated to fighting hunger, building self-sufficiency, and fostering nutritional wellness among those in need, while simultaneously reducing food wastage in hotels and F&B outlets in Hong Kong.
Helping Hand’s objective is to meet the emerging housing, caring and other needs of our senior citizens as quickly, effectively and imaginatively as possible. In order to cope with the rapid social changes and the changing needs and aspirations of our senior citizens, we are always ready to tackle problems, try out new ideas and pioneer alternative approaches.
